What does your job involve?
My role is to oversee and help implement processes that will improve efficiency internally and ultimately for our clients.
So far this has included rolling out our CRM system, relocating office headquarters, including moving from Montreal to New York, and contributing towards our Drakkar plan (Group budget initiative) which will personally involve circa 150K savings so far.
We are also focusing on developing our CSR approach as well as a big M&A opportunity.
What spurs you on each day?
I love the variation across the different projects and being able to work with different teams. We’re currently a small team in the UK and North America which means you can get involved with everyone and I like the opportunities this presents.
I enjoy seeing how the changes I’ve helped implement really adapt the company and impact my colleagues. It’s very satisfying when a project goes to plan, and an enjoyable challenge when things try to go awry!
Would you advise a friend to apply for a job at Econocom?
There’s a lot more opportunity at Econocom than first meets the eye. The company is continuously growing and looking for new talents. We’re a close-knit team locally but have a global presence; I know several employees that have enjoyed secondments and developed their career, as well as personal interests, as a result of this!
Could you tell us a little anecdote to illustrate your work at Econocom?
I’ve been at Econocom for a couple of years and my role and knowledge has grown immensely since my first day in the job. There are lots of exciting projects coming up and I look forward to being a part of them and seeing where they take the company and my career!
